CLIC Launches Artist-in-Residence Program
Are secrets uniquely human? Where are our secrets now? How will intelligent systems of the future process the data we leave behind? These are among the intriguing questions that Sarah Newman, the Center for Law, Information and Creativity’s (CLIC) first artist-in-residence, asked the Northeastern Law community to ponder. As secrets were shared (anonymously) and revealed (publicly) at “The Future of Secrets,” a September 2019 kick-off event for her year in residency, Newman challenged those in attendance to explore the world of artificial intelligence, private data and humanity’s inclination to entrust technology portals with private information.
