Ms. Huer is the managing director of the Center for Health Policy and Law at Northeastern University School of Law. Among other things, Ms. Huer oversees the vision and strategic plan for the Center, develops a robust portfolio of internal and external events, supports faculty and student research, and curates relationships and opportunities intended to impact policy-making, scholarship, and dialogue on issues including health law, public health law, social justice, care delivery and payment reform, and access to health and medicine. The Center’s overarching goal is to promote innovative solutions to public health challenges at home and around the globe. Through her role with the Center, Ms. Huer sits as part of the Immigration Healthcare Access Coalition (IHAC) at Health Law Advocates in Boston, Mass.
Ms. Huer also lecturers in Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University. Before joining Northeastern University in 2016, Ms. Huer worked at the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission in Boston, MA.
