The Center for Health Policy and Law Welcomes Fall 2024 Cohort of Health Law Scholars
Each year, Northeastern Law provides full-tuition scholarships to selected outstanding applicants to the school who have already demonstrated leadership in the public health field. This year, we welcome:
LUNA AN graduated from Wellesley College in 2020 with a double major in Neuroscience and Political Science where she received the Woodrow Wilson Prize in American Politics. She previously worked at a medical communications firm helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms launch new products. She has also worked at Marwood Group, a healthcare policy consulting firm helping clients better understand and navigate the global healthcare landscape.
KRISTIN MEADER graduated from Simmons University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. During her studies, she worked on projects addressing health disparities, environmental health, menstrual equity and health policy, while collaborating with legislators, community organizers and political campaigns. After graduation, Meader joined the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she contributed to clinical trials investigating various topics including the long-term effects of COVID-19, Mpox and C. difficile infection.
PRIYA RATHAKRISHNAN graduated from Emory University in 2019 with a BS in biology and a minor in Hindi. She also received her MPH in health policy from Emory University in 2022. She previously worked at McDermott+ in Washington, DC, conducting health policy legislative and regulatory analyses and lobbied on behalf of clients on Capitol Hill. She has also worked with the GA Department of Public Health to research and analyze health-related legislation and worked in the government affairs division of the American Public Health Association.
