Health Law Professors Conference

The Center for Health Policy and Law at Northeastern University School of Law is thrilled to host ASLME's 44th Annual Health Law Professors Conference on June 7 and 9-11, 2021.

Due to the pandemic and ongoing concerns about public health guidelines and safety, this year's conference will be held as a virtual event.

Sessions will take place on Monday, June 7, 2021 and Wednesday, June 9 through Friday, June 11, 2021. Full agenda now available.

In order to facilitate opportunities for engagement and meaningful connection, this year we will be featuring several types of sessions including workshops, roundtable discussions and traditional panel presentations.

The 2021 Health Law Professors Conference continues to be the "must attend" conference of the year for those teaching in the health law field.

Health and Anti-Racism

This year, we are creating a special session track devoted to advancing long-overdue efforts toward anti-racism and health. Topics in this track should focus on issues at the intersection of law, medicine, ethics, and racial justice. You will have an opportunity to select this track when submitting a proposal.

We want to note two additional opportunities to advance scholarship on this important topic:

The Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics will present a special issue on Health Law and Antiracism. Paper proposals were due February 15, 2021.

ASLME is launching an antiracism student writing competition open to graduate students in any field. Submissions are due June 1.
