In terms of support and resources, what do you recommend to prospective students considering Northeastern Law?
Affordable CISP textbooks help lessen the financial burden associated with law school. Affinity organizations and mentorship programs in various campus organizations facilitate the transition and provide consistent support throughout your law school journey.

What extracurricular activities have you been involved with at Northeastern?
I have engaged with the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and the Student Bar Association (SBA) in executive leadership, and with the National Lawyers Guild as a general member, which has enhanced my understanding of the law and various entry points to the work. I also attend different talks around campus to continue learning about topics of interest, ranging from housing to movement lawyering. Lastly, I've been fortunate enough to take on a client through the Prisoner's Rights Clinic which has changed my life.

What has been your favorite part about doing co-op while at NUSL? Can you describe the experience?
Although I haven't gone on co-op yet, I can speak to how supportive campus leadership is in helping students become strong applicants and build their own co-op opportunities. I secured my first co-op before the start of my spring semester—something that may not be typical—but it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Center for Co-op and Career Development .
