Brenda Fingold:  5 Minute Mindful Check-in

Brenda Fingold has been teaching mindfulness and well-being strategies for two decades. She is a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher and has directed workplace and Leadership education programs at the Mindfulness Centers at the Brown University School of Public Health and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Previously, she spent 17 years at the Boston law firm of Hale and Dorr (now Wilmerhale), where she was a litigator and the partner responsible for training and professional development.

Brenda’s work in the fast-paced and demanding world of a large professional services firm coupled with her equal years of immersion in the science and practice of mindfulness give her a unique breadth and depth of wisdom and experience to guide individuals in integrating mindfulness into their work and lives.

We kicked off this year’s Women in the Law theme, All In: Reimagining Inclusive Workplaces, with a virtual symposium on Friday, September 25, that drew in almost 200 graduates and friends of the law school from across the globe. Program highlights included a conversation with Michele Coleman Mayes, vice president, general counsel and secretary of the New York Public Library, who will serve as our May 2021 Women in the Law conference keynote.
