Breonna Taylor and the Erasure of Black Women from Movements Addressing State Violence Against Black People

“Centering Black women in the Me Too movement is critical to combatting Black women’s experience of sexual violence at the hands of the state,” writes Sarah Nawab ’20 in an article for the Northeastern Law Review’s online forum. “Leaders in both racial justice and gender justice movements should work to ensure that the movements are intersectional and include Black women.
