CRRJ Workshop Series: Courts and the Abolition Movement

Please join the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project for a conversation with Matthew Clair, Assistant Professor of Sociology and (by courtesy) Law at Stanford University, and Amanda Woog, Executive Director of the Texas Fair Defense Project.  Dr. Clair and Ms. Woog will describe the histories and principles of abolition in relation to the criminal courts and specific abolitionist practices undertaken at the Texas Fair Defense Project. They are co-authors of the article “Courts and the Abolition Movement.”

This event is open to CRRJ affiliates and members of the Northeastern University community.
