Bio
Ryan McGovern Quinn ’19 is an associate attorney at Segal Roitman where he represents unions, employee benefit programs and employees. He teaches labor and employment law at Northeastern Law and is cofounder of the Organization of Workplace Lawyers (OWL), a union representing labor and employment lawyers. Following graduation from Northeastern Law in 2019, Professor Quinn spent a year as a judicial clerk for The Honorable Mary Thomas Sullivan ‘81 of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Prior to his legal career, Professor Quinn earned a master’s degree in labor studies from the UMass Amherst Labor Center and served as vice-president of UAW Local 2322 in Western Massachusetts, where he represented and organized workers in higher education, health care and human services.
