Bio
Melanie Roberts (she/her) is training director for youth advocacy at the Massachusetts Public Defender’s Office. She is also co-director of the New England Region of the Gault Center and serves on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Prior to becoming training director, she worked as a trial attorney representing youth in delinquency and youthful offender proceedings. As a trainer, Melanie specializes in defending youth and late adolescents, race equity and trial skills.
