The Law Library will not be providing Course Reserves for this summer or fall terms.
Providing access to physical books is obviously not possible right now. When campus re-opens, we cannot safely provide books that would be frequently touched by many different people, since the books cannot be sanitized like a doorknob or desktop could be.
During the spring of 2020, publishers provided a number of textbooks electronically at no charge. This complimentary access for students has ended. While students can still purchase individual electronic access in lieu of a physical book delivered to their home, publishers either do not have a mechanism for the Law Library to license and lend digital textbooks, or it is prohibitively expensive.
