Professor Nicholson Joins Editorial Board of ABA Journal of Affordable Housing and Community Development

Jared Nicholson04.03.21 — Professor Jared Nicholson has joined the editorial board of the Journal of Affordable Housing and Community Development, a publication of the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law. With three issues per year, the journal is targeted toward attorneys and other housing and community development specialists. It provides current practical information, public policy and scholarly articles of professional and academic interest.

“I’m thrilled to join this wonderful team of legal scholars and practitioners and to have this opportunity to support the contributions of authors in a field so grounded in important contemporary issues facing our communities,” said Professor Nicholson, who worked on the current issue of the journal.

Professor Nicholson serves as director of Northeastern Law’s Community Business Clinic, which provides free legal services to startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. His clinical supervision, teaching and writing focus on transactional skills and community economic development. Professor Nicholson is currently a member of the School Committee of Lynn, Massachusetts, first elected in 2015.
