Professor Alexandra Roberts, faculty director of the Center for Law, Information and Creativity, is quoted in The New York Times on a trademark dispute between Perdue Foods and Soules Foods over competing lines of chicken nuggets shaped like the numerals 6 and 7. “You can’t be the only producer of nuggets in the shape of ‘6 7,’ just like you can’t be the only producers of chicken dinos, or unicorn mac and cheese, or fish sticks in the shapes of fish,” said Roberts.
