In terms of support and resources, what do you recommend to prospective students considering Northeastern Law?
One of the most crucial things you can do while considering a law school is to talk to current students. Whether it is by touring, or emailing a student ambassador, it will help you get a better feel of the school's environment and whether it is the best choice for you. You may also check to see if the type of law that you are interested in is offered in the form of courses and clinics, and if it is, finding a student involved in it to ask them more specific questions about their perspective and experiences..

What extracurricular activities have you been involved with at Northeastern?
I'm currently a member of Business Law Society, First-Generation Law Association and Criminal Law Association.

What has been your favorite part about doing co-op while at NUSL? Can you describe the experience?
As a first year student, I have not had my first co-op yet, but I am currently applying for fall 2024 co-ops. While I was applying to law schools, I was sosure that I was going to go into criminal law in the future. However, since I have started, I've realized that I am very interested in transactional andproperty law as well. I'm very excited for the opportunity to get real, hands-on experience in all of these areas of law through co-ops.

Lindley's Journal

When I was applying to law school, I was curious what a day-in-the-life of a law student looked like. I wanted to know how often students had class, when they did their homework, and if it was true that they had no free time. While I found random TikTok videos of a day-in-the-life and mock class schedules, I did not find a weekly schedule that was all-encompassing. This is an example of what my weekly schedule looks like as a 2L here at Northeastern Law. The only big differences between a 1L schedule and a 2L schedule is that, as a 1L, you have 2-3 more class blocks and usually have Friday class.
