05.30.24 — The Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association has selected Anthony Black ’25 as the recipient of the 2025 Alexander Gray Memorial Scholarship, The scholarship is awarded annually to a second or third-year law students who “demonstrate a commitment to and involvement in the LGBTQ community, leadership, maturity and responsibility.” A dynamic and important contributor to the work of the Mass. LGBTQ Bar, Alexander “Alec” G. Gray, Jr. died in 2005 after a brief and courageous struggle with melanoma. This Scholarship honors his outstanding work as a lawyer and his dedication to the Mass. LGBTQ Bar—particularly his mentorship of new lawyers.
