Commencement 2026

Northeastern Law’s class of 2026 gathered at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston’s Seaport on Friday, April 24, to mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next. The ceremony featured remarks from Dean James Hackney, faculty speaker Professor Margaret Hahn-DuPont and student speakers Mack Makishima ’26, Mariana Xacur Trabulce LLM ’26 and Hien Thu Nguyen MLS ’26 — along with a keynote address from Lois Dehls Cornell ’86, executive vice president of the Massachusetts Medical Society.

“Don’t lose that focus or that passion,” Cornell urged the graduating class. “Remain true to your guiding principles — your True North.”
