International Women’s Day Changemaker Panel

In celebration of International Women’s Day and the positive impact of female social entrepreneurs, join Northeastern University for a Changemaker panel featuring Professor Beth Noveck. 

Guest Panelists Professor and author Beth Simone NovekAlejandra Murillo, MD; Wendy Richard, JD and Christie Bailey will share their experience driving social innovation and change across academia, business, government and research.

The panel will be cohosted by Professor Nikki James and Northeastern Senior and Contrary Venture Partner Joyce Hsieh, followed by an audience Q&A session.

About the Panelists:

  • Beth Simone Novek is a Professor at Northeastern University, Author of Solving Public Problems, Director of The Governance Lab and The Burnes Family Center at Northeastern, and Chief Innovation Officer for the State of New Jersey.
  • Alejandra Murillo is a Medical Doctor and Clinical Research Fellow at Candel Therapeutics and uses her medical skills to volunteer with International Volunteer HQ.
  • Wendy Richard is the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Relations at Sanofi Genzyme a Global Healthcare Company.
  • Christie Bailey is the Director of Professional Relations and International Business at Pulpdent Corporation, a leading bioactive dental research company, with a personal passion for empowering women and sustainability.
