About the Artwork

STIGMA….
“This piece represents the stigma that prison and art have at times. The figure with the spray paint is spraying the word stigma that morphs into bars. It represents the stigma of graffiti and prison that transforms into a columbine and the word ‘acceptance’ in a tattoo font. This along with the tattoo machine coming full circle, meaning an artist can go through the stigma of being in prison and come through to acceptance.”
