Human Rights Day Talk: Human Rights Cities: Why and How?  

This year, the Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy (PHRGE) marked Human Rights Day 2021 with an informative talk by Morten Kjaerum, president of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI). He talked about how the Human Rights Cities movement is growing worldwide, particularly in Asia and Europe, and what these "small places, close to home" mean for both global and domestic initiatives to recognize and implement human rights norms. RWI is a research and academic institution headquartered in Sweden with offices in 40 countries.
