Bio
Edward S. Cheng is a partner at Sherin and Lodgen in the firm’s litigation department. He specializes in complex commercial disputes, professional malpractice cases and real estate litigation. His clients include attorneys and their law firms, corporations and developers. Professor Cheng has also represented attorneys in disciplinary proceedings before the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers and was a hearing officer for the BBO. He served on Massachusetts’ Judicial Nominating Commission and the State Ballot Commission.
Professor Cheng graduated from Princeton University in 1989 and from Boston College Law School, magna cum laude in 1996. He was a member of the Boston College Law Review and has published articles in a number of legal journals, including the UCLA Women’s Law Journal. After law school, he was a law clerk for the Hon. Margaret H. Marshall of the Supreme Judicial Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
