Bio
David Herlihy is a full teaching professor at Northeastern University, coordinator of the university's Music Industry Program and faculty advisor for Green Line Records, NU’s student-run record label. Since 1993, Professor Herlihy has maintained an intellectual property/new media/entertainment law practice in Newton, Massachusetts. He is admitted to practice before Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the US Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Professor Herlihy is a member of The American Society Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), a Billboard-charting songwriter and multi-award-winning lead singer for O POSITIVE, a Boston-based musical group with full-length albums on Epic Records and several independent record labels. Professor Herlihy is still active in the recording studio and he occasionally performs live with the band Hey Dave.
