Bio
Michael Keating is the principal trial attorney at Foley Hoag in Boston and is a past chairman of the Litigation Department. He represents corporate and individual litigants in a range of complex defense litigation in both federal and state court. He served as a law clerk to both Associate Justice Francis J. Quirico of the Massachusetts Superior Court and Judge W. Arthur Garrity Jr. of the US District Court for Massachusetts. On two occasions, Professor Keating was named a Lawyer of the Year by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. In 2003 and 2004 he was ranked by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers as Massachusetts’ leading general commercial litigator. He teaches Civil Trial Practice.
