Bio

Amy Remus Scott started teaching at the School of Law in 2009, when she taught the school’s first Transactional Drafting class. Professor Scott now regularly teaches Transactional Drafting, Corporations and Corporate Finance. Prior to teaching at Northeastern Law, Professor Scott taught first-year legal writing at Boston University School of Law and Law & Ethics in the Boston University School of Management’s MBA program. Previously, Professor Scott clerked for Judge Cornelia Kennedy on the federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and worked as an associate in the corporate department at Foley Hoag in Boston, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, securities law, and general corporate work. Ms. Scott earned a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, and an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College.
