2023 Valerie Gordon Human Rights Lecture: Alexandra Tarzikhan JD/MPH ’18

Alexandra Tarzikhan JD/MPH ’18, legal advisor at the American Bar Association Center for Human Rights, delivered the annusl Valerie Gordon Human Rights Lecture on April 5, 2023.  Tarzikhan, who spoke in her personal, not professional, capacity, delivered an address, “From PHRGE Fellow to International Human Rights Expert: Lessons for Building a Career in Human Rights Law.” In addition, the Valerie Gordon Book Award was presented to MyLinn Clément ’25, who read an excerpt from her award-winning essay, “Sex Trafficking in Black Communities as a Result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
