2011 Daynard Lecture: Patty Garin ’84
Community Lecture: Putting Roadblocks on the Superhighway Carrying Poor People of Color to Prison. In October 2011, the Daynard Public Interest Visiting Fellows Program brought noted public interest law practitioner, Patricia Garin ’84, to the Northeastern campus for a three-day visit. Patricia Garin is a national leader in complex criminal defense and civil rights litigation, renowned for representing students before disciplinary tribunals, and in representing individuals with mental disabilities in both civil and criminal matters.
