2025 Daynard Roundtable: Elizabeth Yeampierre ’83

Elizabeth Yeampierre ’83, co-chair of the Climate Justice Alliance and executive director of UPROSE, Brooklyn’s oldest Latino community-based organization, spoke at Northeastern Law in October as the fall 2025 Daynard Public Interest Law Fellow.

Yeampierre, an internationally recognized climate justice advocate and former chair of the US Environmental Protection Agency’s National Environmental Justice Advisory Council, delivered a community lecture on “Frontline Solutions in the Age of Political and Climate Disruption” and led a roundtable discussion on “Building a Cross Sectoral Movement When the Sky is Falling.”
