Human Rights Cities: Why and How?
Northeastern Law‘s Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy (PHRGE) marked Human Rights Day 2021 on December 10 with an informative talk by Morten Kjaerum, president of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI). He talked about how the Human Rights Cities movement is growing worldwide, particularly in Asia and Europe, and what these “small places, close to home” mean for both global and domestic initiatives to recognize and implement human rights norms.
