Northeastern Law Grads Excel on Bar Exam, Earning State’s Second-Highest Pass Rate
03.14.2025 –Northeastern Law is thrilled to report that the school had the second highest bar passage rate in Massachusetts for July 2024 first-time takers, with a 95.7% pass rate. Only Harvard Law School graduates did better, with a 98% pass rate.
“This is a testament to the excellence of our students and the hard work of our faculty, who are among the best legal educators in the nation,” said Dean James Hackney. “I particularly want to commend Dean Antoinette Coakley, who heads our Bar Success Program.”
“We are so very proud of our Northeastern Law students! All credit for their success is due to their hard work, dedication, perseverance and determination to help one another” said Coakley. “They worked together and received excellent preparation and support from our NUSL community – our faculty, administrators and staff. They also had faith, and that made all the difference.”
