Alexis Smith Palmer ’10

I felt like a lawyer while I was still in school.

Alexis Smith Palmer ’10

From Boston to New York City and Galway to Tokyo, Alexis Smith Palmer ’10 traveled the world on co-op. She gained critical experience in the public and private sectors, building the skills and confidence to tackle the unexpected issues lawyers face. Now, as lead counsel with @Snyk, she relies on her hands-on law school experiences when managing complex legal matters.

One of the reasons Alexis chose Northeastern was to study with socially conscious students and faculty who welcomed conversations about tough ethical questions. She also wanted to attend a school where the students are involved, supportive and motivated to change the world. “The students at Northeastern think outside the box in terms of their careers and lives, and they want each other to succeed,” says Alexis.
