PHRGE Announces Its Fall 2025 Scholars
08.08.25 — The Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy (PHRGE) at Northeastern University School of Law is pleased to welcome its summer scholars, Edith Baez ’26 and Micah Slade ’27. Every quarter, PHRGE provides financial support to outstanding JD and LLM students who have chosen to work with co-op organizations that protect and promote human rights.

Edith Baez ’26Rhode Island Center for Justice Providence, Rhode Island Edith will help protect the rights to housing, employment and education in Rhode Island by investigating violations of human rights and promoting economic and social justice. |
Micah Slade ’27Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) Boston, Massachusetts Micah will assist with the representation of asylum seekers fleeing persecution and immigrants facing serious human rights violations in the United States. |
