Professor Kristin Madison Named Associate Dean for Academic Programs

08.07.24 — Professor Kristin Madison has been appointed to the new role of Associate Dean for Academic Programs at Northeastern Law. Working closely with Professor Hemanth Gundavaram, Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs, and Professor Julian Fray, Associate Dean for Digital Strategy, Professor Madison will support the operations of the JD program and the development of new Northeastern University undergraduate majors that involve law school courses. She will also serve as the law school’s representative for university bodies focused on academic programs and engage in strategic planning with respect to curriculum and other issues that crosscut the Law School’s degree programs.

“Professor Madison’s outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail and commitment to elevating our academic program are second to none,” said Dean James Hackney. “I am extremely appreciative that she has agreed to take on this new position.”

Professor Madison holds a joint appointment in the School of Law and the Bouvé College of Health Sciences and is an affiliated faculty member of the Department of Economics and the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs. Most of her teaching and research activities are in the areas of health law, health policy and health economics.
