This annual symposium (co-sponsored by Northeastern University School of Law, Center for Global Law and Justice) will bring together lawyers, advocates, and public officials to address the criminalization of civic space and suppression of civic engagement, as well as attacks on democratic participation, while equipping participants with practical tools and partnerships to advance human rights protections and strengthen civil rights enforcement on the ground.
