Bio
Professor Rowan retired in 2022. An expert at representing poor people and their organizations, Professor Rowan taught courses in Welfare Law, Poverty Law and Practice, Trial Practice, Lawyering Process, Professional Responsibility and an advanced course in Criminal Procedure.
Professor Rowan taught, mentored and inspired thousands of Northeastern students as head of our clinical programs and as director of the Poverty Law and Practice Clinic. Countless clients and numerous organizations have also benefitted from Professor Rowan’s expertise, advocacy and compassion during his extraordinary service to our clinical program, the community, the legal profession and to the underrepresented.
