Please allow up to 6 days for requests to be filled.

Materials not available at any of the Northeastern University libraries may be borrowed from other libraries through the Law Library’s ILL Department.

  • New registration is required
  • Book and media loans are delivered to the Law Library for you to pick up
  • Article copies and similar documents are delivered to you as .pdf files (NU email required)

Note that law library interlibrary loan services are available only to current NUSL faculty, staff and students. Current NU students and faculty who are not members of the law school community should consult with Snell Library’s ILL Department.

Lending/Copying

The NUSL Law Library (OCLC:NLA) lends/photocopies without charge to other BLC and NELLCO libraries. Members of academic libraries who are not affiliated with BLC or NELLCO, should contact the ILL department. Libraries may request items through WorldCat Resource Sharing.

We also lend items in our circulating collections to non-academic libraries.
