An Evening Honoring Harvey Kaplan and Maureen O’Sullivan

In April 2019, the law school’s Immigrant Justice Clinic honored long-time adjunct faculty members Harvey Kaplan and Maureen O’Sullivan for their pioneering contributions to building the school’s immigration law program. The duo taught immigration law from 1982 (Kaplan) and 1986 (O’Sullivan) until 2009. Along with their law partner Jeremiah Friedman, they mentored countless Northeastern co-op students at their firm, Kaplan, O’Sullivan & Friedman. Kaplan continues to practice immigration law while O’Sullivan was appointed an immigration judge in 2010; she has served in the Boston Immigration Court since 2015.
