Celebrating Emily Spieler

Professor and former Dean Emily Spieler has enjoyed a career of public service, activism, leadership, teaching and scholarship in West Virginia, Massachusetts, nationally and internationally. She has worked tirelessly to advance the rights of workers and to inspire students to use the law creatively to advance social justice. On May 31, 2023, the Northeastern Law community gathered to celebrate her retirement. While she is leaving Northeastern Law, her life work continues.
