Introducing Raquel J. Webster ’03, President of the Alumni/ae Association Board of Directors
09.20.24 — Raquel J. Webster ’03, senior litigation attorney at National Grid, is president of the Northeastern Law Alumni/ae Association board for 2024-2025. Webster will take the lead in increasing the board’s engagement with the broader graduate and student community through programming, meetings and social media. As board president, she also intends to partner with the Office of Development and Alumni/ae Relations to promote Northeastern Law’s robust calendar of conferences, lectures and networking opportunities.
“We have many signature programs throughout the year, including Alumni/ae Weekend, our Connections networking event and the Brown Forum for Women in the Law,” said Webster, who chose Northeastern Law because of its vast experiential learning opportunities and outstanding faculty. “On behalf of the Alumni/ae Board of Directors, we hope to see graduates from across the country come to these incredible events to demonstrate their support for Northeastern Law.”
Webster is very active in the legal community and has received numerous awards. She has served on many nonprofit boards and, in addition to the NUSL Alumni/ae Association board, is currently on the board of directors for the Boston Bar Foundation and Stone House. She is also a volunteer hearing officer for the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers and a volunteer case reviewer for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.
