In terms of support and resources, what do you recommend to prospective students considering Northeastern Law?
I always recommend reaching out and talking to current students. This is the best way to get a feel for day-to-day life at Northeastern Law, as well as help prospective students understand if Northeastern Law is the right fit for them. Additionally, if a prospective student already knows what area of law they’re interested in, it’s incredibly helpful to connect with a current student who shares that same interest in law and discuss what their experience at Northeastern has been like.
What extracurricular activities have you been involved with at Northeastern?
- Student Bar Association, Academic and Student Life Committee
- Queer Caucus, Committee Member
- Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA)
- Criminal Law Association
What is your favorite aspect of Northeastern Law’s co-op program?
I am currently applying for a fall 2024 co-op, and hopefully, one that will allow me to gain more experience with criminal law. I am looking forward to working with clients again and further developing my legal skills and confidence. As someone who did public interest work before applying to law school, I’ve always found public service work to be very fulfilling and I’m excited to continue my work!
