Professor Hartzog to Testify Before US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation

Professor Woodrow Hartzog will testify before the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation this Wednesday, February 27, as part of a hearing titled, “Policy Principles for a Federal Data Privacy Framework in the United States.” The hearing will examine what Congress should do to address risks to consumers and implement data privacy protections for all Americans.

Northeastern Law Team Takes First Place at USPTO Regional Competition

A Northeastern Law team comprised of Yuxiang Chen ’23, Erin Gannon ’23, John Mosley ’22, and Simone Yhap ’22 placed first at the Eastern Regional Round of the 2022 National Patent Application Drafting Competition, a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) event that allows students to develop patent prosecution skills.
