History

Proudly referring to itself as “the queerest law school in the nation,” Queer Caucus has been a part of the Northeastern University School of Law community for several decades. Previously known as the LGBT Caucus, the group changed its name in 1994 to Queer Caucus and has used the moniker ever since. Former QC members recall the importance of the visibility of QC on campus, and that the organization has always been a welcoming space to LGBTQ+ identifying students on NUSL’s campus.

Today, Queer Caucus seeks to continue the tradition of being a visible, welcoming community for queer students.
